Wednesday's News and Tips Shipping Labels
Etsy sellers in the United States with Direct Checkout can now buy shipping labels. Simply print the labels from your computer and Etsy will add the cost to your monthly bill. All you have to do after printing your label is drop the package off at the Post Office.
This may be old news to some sellers, but others may find that they need extra help in this process.

So where do I buy my labels?
Amazon has the best deal on labels. I entered the search terms "shipping labels for usps" and got 413 results ranging from labels to label printers. There are other options available through Avery Office Products, but the best deals are on Amazon.com.A tip from Rita
Q: How do you all manage your time?
A: Great question! I also find myself asking, “Lord, how am I going to manage everything that I need and want me to do?” When I ask this, I’m reminded of something I was introduced to several years ago. It is called S.M.A.R.T. With the passage of time, SMART has helped me to break the big picture of what I want to accomplish into smaller pieces that are more manageable. The letters in SMART at it relates to goals stand for: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Do I have specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound goals? A few examples:
1. I’ll do one load of laundry today.
2. I will write one shop description.
3. I will make two mug rug coasters today for my shop.
Once I have an idea of what I want to achieve on a given day, I ask myself if the goal is measurable, attainable and relevant. For example, I might have written that I want to write six item descriptions and make eight mug rug coasters for my shop, but didn’t take into account that I also have two appointments and three stops to make on my return trip home. Writing six item descriptions and making eight mug rug coasters would not be measurable, attainable or relevant in light of what I’m already doing for that day.
However, if I gave myself two weeks to achieve these two shop goals, my chances of attaining them would be greatly increased. I’d have made the two shop goals measurable since I’d be able to measure my progress in that two week period. The time frame alone would make them attainable and more relevant while helping them to become time-bound goals. Let’s say for the sake of the example, at the end of the first week, I still have two more item descriptions to write and four more mug rug coasters to make. Instead of becoming upset that I might not reach those two shop goals, I step back and say, “Hmmm, maybe I should have set a three-week goal instead of two.” Stepping back to reassess and make adjustments along the way helps me to say, “It is okay, Lord. Maybe, I didn’t do everything I needed or wanted to do today. Thank you, though, Lord for helping me to achieve what I did get accomplished.” Then I state aloud to Him the things that I accomplished for a given day. I’ve found that when I say the accomplishments aloud it not only helps to build up my faith, but also allows me to physically hear that I’ve gotten more done than what I was thinking.
