Wednesday News and Tips Devotion Writers Needed

Would you like to write a devotion or create a picture devotional for this blog? It's not difficult. We only ask that you submit your devotion on a Wednesday (we'll let you know when it will published) so that we'll have time to proofread and ask questions, if necessary. We also ask that your written devotions are no longer than 300 words (scripture verses and/or quotes are not included in the word count) and that writers refrain from making negative comments about denominations since this team represents many.

Here are three examples of devotions that we have published on this blog:

Written devotionals:

We Need Each Other
There is Good Out There

Picture devotional: God is Always There for Us

We look forward to hearing from you!

USPS raises postal rates

In case you haven't heard, the United States Postal Service has raised its rates for postage.

According to a recent Etsy article, Shipping Rates Update for Sellers:

Most domestic mail classes will see a 3-5% rate increase across the board. The most significant increases you’ll see are in International First Class Postage and International Priority, primarily in smaller packages. Postage in these classes will increase by as much as 100% or more in some cases.

Fortunately, Etsy offers a way for sellers to save on costs. For U.S. sellers who have opted for Direct Checkout, they can print their own shipping label from their stores. This helps sellers save on costs because Etsy offers Commercial Base prices on most mail classes, according to Shipping Rates Update for Sellers (you can link to this article by clicking on the blue hyperlink).
